”All I wanted to do was show you the sea.”

This show turned into the science-fiction version of Agatha Christie's “And Then There Were None,” so the question for the final episode remains: Who will survive this deadly adventure on the Moon, or was this show courageous enough to let everyone die – even Luna – and therefore kill humankind's last chance of survival? This show has mostly been about the mysterious lunar water and what happened five years ago, with the mention of humankind being on the brink of extinction due to water shortage (and the disappearance of the world's oceans) barely being mentioned. As the astronauts made their way to the station and faced danger and a conspiracy, the fact that they were there to find the clue to save their planet went further into the background.

But at least this episode delivered some answers, except for the reason why this conspiracy existed to begin with. The image of a bunch of pre-packaged Lunas was extremely creepy, but as it is standard with the show already, it didn't bother going too deep into the “Why?” of it all, let alone explaining how cloning was perceived in this series universe. Is it controversial? Forbidden? A science only the Moon base knew about because they discovered it in their efforts to make lunar water for humans? It's a premise that deserves to be in a show that has more than eight episodes a season.

Plus points for the producers knowing that water in the vacuum of space immediately vaporizes and freezes, which should definitely mess up the whole station now, with all the pipes getting damaged by the pressure of being frozen (not to mention all the lunar water that came out of the leaking pipes). The show tried to do some hard sci-fi at some points, and I will recognize it for that.

The savior of mankind is being experimented on.
