”And Michael is quite certain of this?”

“I am, sir. Would you like me to give you a 40-point, cross-indexed statistical readout?”

“Good lord, no, it's 2 a.m.”

Michael Knight undercover! This episode basically depicted what the idea of a Fast and Furious franchise could have looked like in the 1980s. A couple of cool cars and cool heroes, and a couple of truck drivers who have no clue that they were being robbed because they never had eyes on what was happening behind them. The heist portion of the episode was quite cool to look at, and would have been a great little thrill ride in a feature film and with a bigger budget, but I do find it a bit absurd that Kincaid was organizing a paramilitary unit for what amounted to be a simple crime of robbing someone. And here I was, thinking that a paramilitary unit would be used for what paramilitary units are generally used for: military operations. A coup or something like that.

Also, the convenient plot device of Kincaid never having met Dugan before was a little too convenient, just so Michael could slip in as Dugan and be part of the unit in the show's first undercover episode. If there is one thing that Kincaid can blame on him getting arrested in the end, it's that he didn't check out his unit before he invited them to his secret base of operations.

Meanwhile, Michael got to kiss another woman, even if only quickly, and on the lips, like couples usually do when they wave each other goodbye for the day because they are going to work. Linda is the third woman character of the show who gets to taste David Hasselhoff's lips. But according to K.I.T.T. riffing on Michael's private life in between Foundation missions, he pretty much has a woman in every city.

K.I.T.T. knows what Michael is really looking for in a woman.
