”You want accidents, explosions, chills, and thrills, so you can sell what would have been a turkey, and keep your little cable network alive. But you don't want any of the responsibility.”
Michael Knight and K.I.T.T. are finally racing, although I have no idea what kind of competition they were racing in. It couldn't have been a time trial, because Michael and K.I.T.T. only reached first place in the last leg, so he couldn't have been the fastest driver. It also probably wasn't a race that gave points to each driver after every leg, since Michael didn't get any points until the last leg. Whatever kind of race this was, it made Michael win even though he only showed up first at the finish line once – always with a woman in the passenger seat, by the way.
What was also funny was how Michael was pretty much the only racer who was not wearing a helmet (one of the brothers also neglected to secure his brain, but he only had minimal screentime) during the race, proving once more that David Hasselhoff's mane was too pricey to be put inside a helmet, even though back in “Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show Spectacular,” Michael wore a helmet (and had K.I.T.T. dressed in stickers).
Liberty was also a hilarious character, bringing me a couple of laughs. While I have no idea why her name turned up in the episode's title (except for the lazy reference to an old saying), seeing her gagged in Michael's car, trying to make him aware that she wants to get rid of the gag gave me joy, especially since she wasn't the nicest character of the bunch with her pressuring to get the inside scoop of the race. Not to mention that Liberty was the seventh woman guest character of the show to taste Michael's lips. And judging by the fact that she treated that moment as “spending the night with him,” when he clearly stated to K.I.T.T. that he left the room quickly, makes me think that she was a little too hot-headed to be anything more than just eye candy for the show.
